What have you been doing lately? I’ll let you know what I’ve been doing…straight fucking grinding. I don’t think I’ve hustled like this in a long time. Anyway enough about me what shows have you been watching? I’m watching the following: Ice Road Truckers and Expedition Africa all on the History Channel. First of all, those history channel muthafukas need to shrink that logo down a bit. It’s so big and takes up a good portion of my screen while I’m watching the show. I know I’m watching it on the History Channel, I don’t need to be reminded the entire time. Anybody take a branding class? Fuck. Not to mention they have this 1990′s tech-like graphic bar that tells me about some other show coming up next. I don’t give a fuck about the other show, I’m watching this one and you are blocking more of the screen. Between the gigantic logo and this Flash 3 banner I can’t see the show. If you haven’t seen any of the two shows I mentioned you need to check them out regardless of the branding cluster fuck. Now lets move onto Ice Truckers. Ice Truckers is about these insane dudes and one dudette that drive huge big rigs on the most deadliest road in the united states. I’m talking, ice, snow and other truckers all doped up on NoDoze. The show is crazy and stressful but awesome to watch. Expedition Africa is about these Type A-Alpha outdoor types retracing Dr. Livingstons’s expedition through Africa. The social dynamic is amazing and worth watching. Got any thoughts on the shows or have a show we should be watching? If you are still out there let’s discuss. (sound of cricketts)

Holy shit is this show stupid. Monique (the hostess) makes me want to put my head through a plate glass window. If you haven’t watched this show I don’t blame you…it blows. However the intelligence level of the players and the hostess make this show OHHHHHHH so entertaining. Are there any good reality shows in the mix soon?

  • I bought a new TV. I’m a bit embarrassed to say what size it is, but it’s an LCD HDTV and its big. This HD stuff is insane looking! It’s like the first time I got glasses, I could see every little detail. Sports look amazing in HD. I’m watching basketball, baseballs and even Nascar. I’m scared for when Football season starts.
  • After a long pregnancy and pretty rough labor, I proudly introduce to the world my little new born baby: Incase Designs. Without sounding like a total conceded douche, this site really has the illest cart ever. It’s been awesome working on this project together with Electric Pulp and we got some more dope shit lined up for Phase II.
  • My brother (from a different mother) Miesj, just won his first ever poker tourney. A sweet 14,700 euros! Dinner is on Miesj next time he’s in LA.

Tod Oldham once walked into the skate shop I was working in and he was wearing the exact same shirt and jeans I was wearing. When he noticed me rocking the same gear he said “K-Mart?”. Yes, it was K-Mart. K-Mart had just moved into NYC in the downtown area (for you skate nerds…right by the “cube” aka Astor). We joked about the whole K-mart thing. I can’t remember what he bought from the shop, maybe some oakley shoes. Any-Fucking-Hoot, have you guys caught onto the new show on Bravo entitled “Top Design“? It’s hosted by Tod Oldham and it’s your typical contest show but the muthafukers figured how to tap that ever-so-popular DIY trend (Trading Places etc etc). Just when you thought that whole interior design show was done they squeezed a bit more. I’m backing the show…it’s good but I’m waiting for the craze to begin. This show ain’t-no White Rapper show but it’s worth a gander. I think I’m backing this homie

I haven’t watched American Idol since the first season it ran. I could give 2 fucks about the show but for some reason I’m attracted to “train wrecks”. I happened to catch the new season of American Idol last night and of course the first 2-3 episodes are the ones to watch. The reason being is that the try outs are painfully bad. Not only are the people who are delusional about their ability painful to see but even the ones that can sing are painful to watch. I’m convinced half of those people suffer from some sort of mental illness. As I thought more about it (them being mentally ill) I began to get sad. I guess you can call it a reality check for some of these contestants but for others it’s a dream crusher, which is the bummer. Also, is anyone else tired of the Simon bashing? Shit hasn’t changed with this show.

It’s what you would expect, but oh boy is it awesome. It’s put on by ego trip which was a hip-hop mag from back in the day. They’ve put out some books and I guess they now do TV shows. My favorite character is John Brown…oh is he classic, hahahaha. The type of classic that makes you feel real uncomfortable, ass clinching uncomfortable. MC Serch is the host and he’s awesome. Black cats are bad luck, bad guys wear black. It must of been a white guy that started all that.
