I just stood in line with all the other Muggles for 4 hours to get the last Harry Potter book. That’s right, the LAST… it’s finito.

Upon receiving my copy, I ran straight out to the parking lot, skipped to the last page of the book and was blown the eff away. Strap in dudes, you’re about to be taken for a ride:

Harry Potter = Luke Skywalker

Ron Weasley = Han Solo

Hermione Grainger = Princess Leia

Sirius Black = Obi Wan

Dumbeldore = Yoda

Draco Malfoy = Boba Fett

Voldemort = Darth Vader, Harry’s Father!!!

Hope I’m not ruining it for anyone, but Hogwart’s (The Rebels) blow up the Death Star.

There’s all this talk about the high value of having a website that is community driven and connects directly with the consumer. A part of it is to help curtail negative rumors and on the positive side learn more about who actually buys their stuff or relates to their brand. I remember when all us nerds were talking to executives about this rising trend and their response was “make a myspace page”. I don’t want to bore you with this beat-to-death topic but I recently stumbled upon an interesting chain of events that involves people talking shit on a message board and the guy behind (and in front) of the curtain fires back by responding on the message board and then doing a online interview. I guess some would call this the new age of the refined PR spin. Here’s the interview and here’s the post that appeared on Slap Message Boards. This whole scenario (and I know more like this) I guess would be summed up as a piece of “Conversation Architecture“

Ok it seems skatetalk is a hot topic on the Crew Spot lately so lets talk skate. I hear some rumors and these might be rumors but I’ll tell you what I heard.

Joey Pepper bounced from Zoo cause the contract was junk

Seamus who use to be the Birdhouse TM left and went to Zoo and brought every one from birdhouse (Shetler, Westgate, Suski, Nesser)

Every wood mfg that did biz in the US is practically moving to Mexico or China (maybe except Jim Gray) cause shit is mad money here

Adidas is talking to PJ Ladd, MJ and one other person…I forgot what I heard though.

Some one is getting booted from Plan B but I forget who.

Again these are not facts just shit I over heard while sweeping floors or lying drunk in some gutter.
