A few months ago some oldskooler joined the channel and asked where everyone was. That got me thinking, so I decided to do some research.

The start of the race was hectic. I was in the front but somehow there were still tons of slow people, people with baby strollers and even people stopping and taking pictures ahead of me. After some weaving through traffic I finally got in my pace and started to zone out. In fact, I was so much in the zone, that I didn’t even recognize my buddy Mike giving me a high five when we crossed paths. The finish of this race is always the best, you go through the tunnel and end right inside the LA Coliseum.

My GPS watch displayed a finish time of 36:17 with an average pace of 7:10. However, it also said the length of the course was 5.07 miles (no idea how that’s possible). So I will have to wait for the official results online. But I definitely set a PR!

UPDATE: Official time is not gonna happen since the timing chips didn’t register at the start. Good thing I had my nerd watch. However, images have been posted, and I look like a sack of shit.

I just stood in line with all the other Muggles for 4 hours to get the last Harry Potter book. That’s right, the LAST… it’s finito.

Upon receiving my copy, I ran straight out to the parking lot, skipped to the last page of the book and was blown the eff away. Strap in dudes, you’re about to be taken for a ride:

Hope I’m not ruining it for anyone, but Hogwart’s (The Rebels) blow up the Death Star.

First I created a LOLcat. Image supplied (with approval of course) by the lovely Malingering. Who takes the coolest cat photos.

Then we synchronized our watches and at exactly 11am PST we all adjusted our Apache .htaccess file with a few simple lines. Now any hot linked image on the douche site is replaced by the LOLcat.
