It’s hip to hate the hip
June 1st, 2007 by Crza under archive, hateT.O.N.Y does a anti-hipster article. I’m sensing some irony. Any way, this article claims to miss the old NY while it bashes these particular “consumers”. Come to think of it I miss the old NY too. I loved the shitty subways, I miss carrying a hammer in my sleeve while I walked to school, I miss the smell of garbage juice in the summer. I miss the ghetto camps in the summer were basically the counslers beat you. I miss having the family car broken into at least once a month. Yeah, I miss that stuff. Real NYers don’t miss the old NY. IF they say they do, they never lived in OLD NY. Believe that my friend. Of course I don’t back the corporate take over of NY but if another person says they miss the “old ny” I’m going to put a box cutter to their cheek. How’s that for old ny? Wow, talk about a rant…pardon me I must of ate some thing bad. Anyway, the article is entertaining.

I want to say one thing (besides what I just said). In order to comment on “hipsters” you yourself have to be a hipster. You don’t see non-golfers commenting on golfers. Right?

Are you referring to the strawberry farm wars or the clash of the strip mall fights. Shit got crazy then especially in Lake Forest
