I saw it the other night at the $2 theater just for something to do. Didn't think it would be anything special, but it caught me off guard. Really liked it. My favorite part was toward the end where he's in the refugee camp running after the people who took the girl. I truly felt like I was an embedded photo-journalist following some third-world civil war fighter. I couldn't even tell there were visual fx because they were so subtle, yet so real. Anyway, I'd like to add "Enter the Dragon" to the list, just because of its influence in other movies. "Smokey and the Bandit" gets it done as well. Oh, I almost forgot--John Woo movies...any of them! "The Killer" or "Hard Boiled" are definitely the best gun-battle, bullet-orgy scenes ever put to celluloid. Also where I first saw Chow Yun Fat.
