It’s put on by ego trip which was a hip-hop mag from back in the day. They’ve put out some books and I guess they now do TV shows. My favorite character is John Brown…oh is he classic, hahahaha. The type of classic that makes you feel real uncomfortable, ass clinching uncomfortable. MC Serch is the host and he’s awesome. Black cats are bad luck, bad guys wear black. It must of been a white guy that started all that.

How about the home made biz cards? Holy shit that was amazing. The show is getting a bit boring now. It’s kind of awkward when they just rap with out music or a beat. I never liked freestyle or when people just spit off the cuff. Sort of lame.

I think Jon Brown is on the right track. He has everyone talking about the Ghetto Revival. Honestly he also has the best flow of all the rappers. Not only does he exhibit great word play he is also very conscience in his raps. If you pay close attention you will see he is always ready for battle or for any competition. He is also dedicated to the mission. His confidence is to be admired. No matter what is said to him he does not feed into it. He is not irritated by any of the other contestants and when it’s time to rap he is the first one up. Also the matter with the homemade biz cards just displays how hungry he is. I had to post up and give my input. LOL Anyways i really want to see where this show takes us. I couldn’t help but laugh at this show, even though i’m not really into reality show.
First of all, i’m just wondering why they have a search for a white rapper show,it’s like its supposed to be a lab rat experiment or something, it’s like it’s suppose to be the new shit in our society right now. John Brown aka King of the Burbs is the best rapper on the show. Definitely the rap heavyweights on the show would have to be John brown and Sully. John Brown is always brings his A game to the freestyle and never loses his cool. Brown has good wordplay, lyrical ability and delivery. Sully on the other hand, raps like the Game and has better punchlines. Shamrock has the good ATL flow but falls short for those more complex rhymes. Persia is out of the question because shes acts way toooo black with that hood attitude. She looks foolish. Jus rhymes aka the Political rapper is going to get booted because hes not mainstream hip hop. I agree with him on his philosophy of no drugs and achohol but that’s his weakness. I just saw episode 6 the one where Jon boy and Sully gets kicked off. John Boy is a horrible rapper. Vanilla ice could rap better than him. I think its was stupid for sully to just quit. He was the favorite out of all the rappers that Mc serch felt had the best talent. If you noticed sully screwed up several times but Serch kept him on the show cause he knew he was something special. John Brown was set to win the whole thing from the beginning. He came in not givin a shit what anyone else thought or said bout his whole ghetto revival and continued to do his thing. He’s BY FAR the best rapper on that show cuz he’s an educated white boy from the burbs who got his business plan straight and he’s got a nice flow with witty lyrics to go with it. He can rap about anything and everything where as everyone else rapped about the same shit every time. He’s the only one who didnt give a shit about anyone else in the white house and it showed in the elimination challenges. Persia was tight but she got caught up in hating on john brown and look where it got her. Sullee was a bitch and instead of cryin bout being in elimination every time he shudda taken it as another opportunity to spit somethin hott, cuz he def cudda done that, he was a nice MC. Shamrock is real tight but he gets too nervous about shit. The final might be close but theres no doubt the king of the burbz is gonna hold it down and win the 150K.

I think Jon Brown was robbed in the final show, i’m not hating either sham did his thing but lets be honest. When one the judges can say with a straight face “BEING A LYRIST IS JUST NOT THAT IMPORTANT ANYMORE”, i wondered if the deciple himself nas was going to jump out with his hip hop is dead song. It’s cool jon brown rapped about something as socially conscience as jugo chavez, hezbolla, and the deception of a democracy with his one and only chance to shine. it was all fraud. Jon brwn definitely is a true mc/rapper/freestyler. He came with True Originality. His whole approach and execution needed no reasoning, its as plain as Snoop’s was when he first laid out “G - Thang” w/DRE!! Feel me? - SMOOTH & ORIGINAL -simply said. I saw the episode and I have to say John Brown blew Shamrock out the water. The only thing is that his song \”car wars\” was super corny. His flow was better and it hooked better. Sham-rock was out of breath his voice was cracking and it sounded like some 2001 Petey Pablo track. They need to do a small follow up show on John Brown and track his journey into the hip hop world. Also the whole friend visit thing was crazy strange.

That was messed up that JB didnt win.. did you hear Smamrocks freestyle : “Yo im from tha A. I’m in the D. I dont rap much. Ill do it for free.” And then compared to John browns - “I put fire on an arm till i burn and melt, i put fire in a song till I burn in hell” he was the only one who constantly had new lines. Everyone else repeated themselves, ESPECIALLY Sullee, Jus Rhyme and Shamrock. Shamrock was recyclin lines from his FIRST audition tape, and his FILA line was an Outkast line.
JB’s right, he is an entity, somethin about his whole program, the business religion militia thing, his catch phrases are what its all about. When u listen to a John Brown verse, you don’t think “Oh these lines are nice” you think “Woah John Brown is speaking”. His delivery is flawless and he knows how to make concise lines.
U gotta realize that he probably wanted to display his real views on shit, his track had more meaning than u think, he would have won HANDS DOWN if he came with some mainstream lyrics, like his track My Turn, which is sick

i’m not feelin king of burbs, just a rich white boy that needs a hobby. he doesnt have too much skills. he doesn’t have multis, metas, and his verses aren’t very enjoyable.
$hamrock had some serious lyrical skill but instead used to it rep the A. he always had a consistant flow, metaphors, rhymed multi syllables and has really catchy hooks. his verses have lots of hype, and the multis are clearly present.
