Heroz’
October 24th, 2006 by Crza under archive, TVNo more bitchy fashion designers, no more flava and his wild stable of misfits, lost is lost…now what. My DVR is starving and I need to feed it. Huphz’ is claming the NBC show “Heroes” is good. I watched it but I’m not sure if I’m feeling it. Any of you got an opinion or a show worth DVRing? I could just not watch TV and read a book but that’s so 1990.

Cash in the Attic. Makes me wish I had an attic.
Numbers. CSI for nerds.
America’s Next Top Model. Just cuz there’s twins on it, and I’m waiting for one of them to be sent home.
Everybody Hates Chris. Got a lot better since first season.
MythBusters. I’m a total skeptic.
War at Home. Kinda lame, but I like Rapaport.
Wild ‘N Out. “Whose Hip-Hop Line Is It Anyway?”
The Duel. Has this cancer surviving girl on it who lost most her hair due to chemo and now looks absolutely smmmmmmokin.
Heroes. Like X-Men on TV!
My Name is Earl. Not as good as season one.
Battlestar Galactica. Best thing on TV right now.
Dr.Who. Dry but good.
TUF4. Dennys is training to be in TUF666!

I dig Heroes. One scene in particular, where the sheerleader wakes up on the autopsy table with her chest opened up… pretty original.

That scene was crazy. The whole blood and guts thing through me for a loop cause it was regular TV. I’m sure fuckers are writing in to complain. I haven’t seen Americas Top Model in a while. Tyra is just to annoying. Though…I do love it when she gets all mad for no reason and pulls some bullshit model pose to show the girls how it’s really done.

the Office, & season three of Anthony Bourdain, No Reservations starts in January… so dope! Check for reruns to prepare, it’s not a cooking show & not quite a travel show.

BTW – Tivo users thank you for your non use of “Tivo” as a verb, if your shizz ain’t a tivo… don’t act like it is! Well done!

Curb Your Enthusiasm… (gotta pay extra for HBO unfortunately)

Top Model for sure.
Veronica Mars is a guilty pleasure
PBS has tons of awesome shows, Frontline & POV are favorites.
The Office, Especially if you work in an office

Well, one of my all-time favorite TV shows, The State is finally available for download on iTunes. If you don’t remember this show from mid-90′s MTV, it’s definitely one of the best sketch comedy shows ever. And a couple of them are doing Reno: 911 now so if you like that show you’d like The State.
If you like motorcycles you could watch the show I edit: Corbin’s Ride On.
Of course with you being out in the west side of the country, you might be able to get my new favorite cable access show Let’s Paint, Exercise & Blend Drinks TV, some totally surreal shit there.

You know what show I saw recently that was funny..South Prk. I know, I know, you hate it, it sucks, blah-blah but it\’s actually funny..at least the episode I saw. Cartman was Dog the Bounty Hunter. So classic. PBS is banging and National Geo\’ has got some good shows. MSNBC has a few good docs\’ but I want some trashy tv like Flava and that designer show I just watched. Ooooh…lost is on tonight.

twistedtrees: That John Kilduff clip rules. When is it on?
October 25th, 2006 at 10:07 am
I don’t know, but he’s got like 20 videos up, and he’s got a website LetsPaintTV that’s pretty funny too. I really like the one where he gets a Sadam Hussein impersonator on there to cry and appologize while he paints his portrait.

NOBODY HAS SAID HBO’S THE WIRE? I’M SHOCKED, THAT SHIT IS HAND’S DOWN THE BEST THING ON THE BOOB TUBE.
October 25th, 2006 at 3:01 pm
I have to second c00ler’s recommendation of The Office. If you watch Earl, just keep watching because The Office is about 3 times funnier (even if it doesn’t have an ex-pro-skate-dude). South Park has probably been the most consistently funny show for the last 5 years.. they have some bad episodes but in general they’re great, and edgy too. It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is another good show, my roommates record it so I’m not sure when/if it’s on currently.. LOST is easy to get sucked into (but make sure to watch the first two seasons!).. and yes, piranha, The Wire is a great show but I just haven’t had time to get into it.

I’m pretty much only watching discovery channel and TLC of late, in Canada here on our movie network which is a cluster of US pickups from HBO and SHO, I’m feelin WEEDS and this new show DEXTER. while weeds was a bit funnier in its first season its a weekly watch for me, but Dexter is taking the cake for its mix of messedup-ness and dark humor.
November 7th, 2006 at 6:01 pm
dude is it me or is Heroz’ getting boring? I fell asleep during last nights episode.
November 8th, 2006 at 3:28 am
I think you were just tired.
November 14th, 2006 at 3:22 pm
Heroez’ was good last night. Now shit is getting nutty. The last episode of Lost was pretty good but I really hate the “others” story line.
