R.I.P. IE6
October 19th, 2006 by huphtur under archive, browsers, hateToday Microsoft released Internet Explorer 7 and will roll out the automatic update in November. I’m very reluctant installing it. I feel like I’m about to throw away a whole era of hate against IE, and to be honest, I kinda liked that era.

Yeah, I tried it too.. First needed to upgrade to SP2.. Then installed it..
It has tab support.. but an ugly tab interface… It has an embedded search bar that searches using live.com. I had some applications relying on IE (Pandion jabber), that are totally fucked now. Thats bad.. So.. mixed feelings about it.. heh.. As always with m$.

DB I’m running a Mac. Huphz works for a company that directly works with Apple but he runs PCs..yeah plural. Huphz, you mess with a mac yet? On another note: DB do you post on MTBR?
