I’m not one for celebrity gossip but since our post about Flava and the links from some of our comment-enators I figured we need to link this site. Some harsh shit in there besides the normal “this star drinking a starbucks coffee on sunset” type crap. It’s worth a lurking even if you can give a fuck about the stars: Perez Hilton. Some of the comments are awesome.

Hey, for those of you into these celeb gossip/shit talking sites…you really should check out A Massive Swelling by Cintra Wilson…she was doing the shit ages ago, before the web existed. Lengthy, well researched essays that really tear Hollywood a new asshole. Its an amazing book that will have you laughing…its also a nice reminder that just because someone basically self publishes their snarky shit talking on the web via blogging, doesn’t necessarily make them a writer. I think if more people knew about Cintra and how she was a pioneer in this shit, the standard of celeb shit talk blogs would be much higher… I know its a stretch…youll have to like, read and pay attention and turn pages and stuff…but try it…you wont regret it…
